I wanted to do a little post to try out my new "signature" I made to match my new blog look, and I figured I might as well write a little something while I'm at it.
My little brother, Evan, and I are singing in church in the morning. I'm nervous. On top of that, it's time to "spring forward", so I'll be losing an hour of sleep. But, it's not about me, at all. I just thought I would share that I'm a bit nervous about it. Say a little prayer that my throat won't be too cruddy. (Sorry, if that was TMI)
Don't worry, though, the Davis fam is hitting the hay early tonight because of that hour we're losing. I'm just waiting for Evan to get out of the shower, then it's a shower for me and I'll hopefully be in bed by nine! (*crosses finger*)
That's it! I just felt like writing a bit. I kinda like doing this smaller posts more often thing.
Better than my usual LONG post not very often, at least.
Since I've had this blog for almost a year now, I've found that I really enjoy looking back at my older posts and re-reading things I've completely forgotten about. I really do think I'm going to try and post more often. I'm already thinking about a short, but funny "Not Me! Monday" post I can do.
But, I am the blogger of unkept promises, so I won't make any this time.

You did fabulously! Absolutely beautiful. I only wish they had your mic turned up a little louder. Or maybe it was that I was sitting in the "dead zone". Regardless, great job! (and cute signature too)

I'm thinking about posting a few pics that my mom took on Sunday, in my next post. It's crazy how packed the stage looked!
okay, i have to know, did you create your own background or did you find that one hidden somewhere on cutestblogsontheblock. Because I can't find any fun new backgrounds, and I've been looking all over!
Yeah, I found it at cutestblogontheblock. It was showing as one of their "new spring backgrounds!" a few weeks ago. Only, I got mine from the "3 column" section in the free backgrounds list. I stretched out my blog a bit, and the three column template looked good with it.
Other than that I'm not sure. I know that after TCBOTB updated their sites survey a few months ago, it seemed like a lot of their old layouts weren't there anymore... Not sure what the deal is with that...
