Happy Mother's Day! A post for my mom. :)

Yes, I did just write a birthday post for my mom just a few days ago. Yes, I'm writing another post for her because it's Mother's Day. You're just gonna have to be okay with that. Or you can stop reading now. I'll understand.

The majority of this post is pictures. Mainly because I don't have an amazing way with words. And I think pictures are more fun.

It's a bit long, so sit down(if you're not already), relax, grab a nice cup of tea* and enjoy...

*or any other beverage of choice.

Mom,

I joke all the time and ask why you had so many kids(I really am joking, it's not like we're the Duggars. Four kids isn't that many).

But a lot of the time we can be pretty obnoxious...

And so, so, soooo lazy...

(And I had many more pictures to chose from)

We aren't always as careful as we should be...

We act craaazy...

And we grow up too fast...

And that's just what we have pictures of...

There is so much more we do that makes us undeserving of your love, but you love us anyway.

You're always looking out for our best interest, and putting us before yourself. I know you want the best for us, and you sacrifice so much because of that.

This post is probably a jumbled mess. I could say so much more about you, and never say everything I wanted..remember, I'm not so good with words. ;)

The gist of what I'm saying...

I love you! Thanks for loving us at even our most unlovable moments!

And I'm glad you had four kids, just don't have anymore. ;)

And just so no one thinks we're horrible kids, here's some good pictures of us...

A Mother's love is something
that no on can explain,
It is made of deep devotion
and of sacrifice and pain,
It is endless and unselfish
and enduring come what may
For nothing can destroy it
or take that love away . . .
It is patient and forgiving
when all others are forsaking,
And it never fails or falters
even though the heart is breaking . . .
It believes beyond believing
when the world around condemns,
And it glows with all the beauty
of the rarest, brightest gems . . .
It is far beyond defining,
it defies all explanation,
And it still remains a secret
like the mysteries of creation . . .
A many splendoured miracle
man cannot understand
And another wondrous evidence
of God's tender guiding hand.

I love you so much, Mom!!!
And as Michael said when he called today, you're the best mom EVER.

Thank you, my sweet girl. You are very good with words, and extremely good with pictures and you are wonderful in every way. I am blessed beyond anything I could express to have you for a daughter. And I have always and will always love being your mom (and the boys' too) every day of my life.

Haven't read your blog in a while. Wow! Had to catch up on lots of posts. Yes, you do have the greatest mother in the world. And, I hope she had a fabulous birthday. And, I LOVE the picture of Aaron with the rolled up foam on his head. Hilarious!!!!
